We've all heard that Francisco Costa wanted to partner with another established designer for a new secret project, so of course the fashion world has been watching him like a hawk. So is it wrong to assume something's up when Page Six spots Costa with Kate Spade at La Grenouille?
Let's analyze the situation: La Grenouille is a fabulous French restaurant, but its Midtown location makes it perfect for a business outing, not a casual dinner between two friends. Furthermore, Kate Spade has been off the fashion radar since her little stint with Delta's now-defunct Song unit. A partnership with Francisco Costa is just what she needs.
