To be perfectly honest, District L wouldn't even be aware of this travesty if it weren't for Jezebel's post, "Even Gap Designer Clothes Only Available in Tiny Sizes."
....Because a size 10 is tiny?!
Totally agree with you - I was excited to check out the "designer" editions at Gap when I saw them in the window display this weekend. Unfortunately when I got in the store and looked at them up close, they were all in that same shade of middle-America khaki the Gap is known for selling by the millions, only with a few extra details the designers added in. I eyed a pair of pleated, cropped pants by Mr. Wang, and unfortunately they looked oversized enough to fit two of me and not nearly worth the over $50 price. If I want to find cheap designer-esque clothing, next time I'm heading straight to H&M.
